Disagree 100%. Even IF this method was used, that would not benefit Itachi because only his mental state is "enhanced", whereas his his real world body is left behind due to lack of actual training.

You could mentally train for 100 years, but that won't do crap for you in the real world since your body will still be slow and untrained.

Battle simulations are very effective and beneficial .. and mentally? That has great effect on the body, look at what happened to a Kakashi

Madara trained Obito .. Obito trained Itachi.. I'm tired of trying to explain myself.. How do you explain Itachi having the memories of Madara.. Educated guess?.. Obito showed him through his genjutsu, Itachi showed Sasuke, Obito trained him, but I'm not Gona argue
