The power creep was ridiculous...

This is to discuss the ridiculous power creep in Naruto.

Naruto and Sasuke went from High-Jonin level to God Tier in a couple of days...
...and that's all because Kishi felt like drawing Meteors and shit.

The power creep should of probably stopped at Pain's village-busting Shinra Tensei and any other village busting attack should of been Bijuu Bombs from the Bijuus.

And if you think about it, Naruto and Sasuke are pretty much the strongest only because Kishi never developed any of the other characters. If Kishi had took the time to develop other characters, maybe Naruto and Sasuke wouldn't need such a boost to have fought Madara? Maybe the combined effort of all the characters could of took Madara down?

And Kishi messed up big time when he made the asspull of Madara not dying when the Edo Tensei was released like the rest of the Edos. That led to even more OP shit.

Imo, here's how I would of had Naruto and Sasuke developed;

• Sasuke should of unlocked his MS before fighting Itachi, that way he would of had a better matchup with Itachi and Itachi would of actually tried in the fight. Not to mention Sasuke would of also had access to his curse mark while having MS Jutsu. (Curse Mark Susano'o gave me this entire Idea.)
• Naruto should of just tamed the Kyuubi, got KCM, and learned some Uzumaki Sealing techs. (Maybe even FTG?) He was fairly OP in his KCM already. Not to mention he could of perfected KCM + Sage Mode later.

What I'm trying to say is that Naruto should of been in his Prime at KCM and Sasuke should of been in his Prime at MS.

And not to mention they are both just 16.
It doesn't make sense for Teenagers combating grown ass men and winning just because they're the main characters.

Kishi doesn't know how to allow his main characters to lose. For example, think of all the fights Sasuke won or survived when he should of lost. He forgot all about letting his main characters lose after Part 1.

Power creep like your describing has always been in the manga. The first battle in the manga is Naruto beating a chuunin, then in part 1 he defeats Gaara and Shukaku, a foe only the Kazekage could stop.

The power will be scaled down in part 3 I believe.

People with too much power causes fear and paranoia and it creates distrust, conflict, and eventually war, like Hagoromo said. People with that much power shouldn't exist.

However, the scales will be balanced sooner or later. When Naruto and Sasuke die, so does all their mighty powers and the everything will be balanced out.

Haku was a ANBU ninja iirc and never intended to kill Naruto or Sasuke.
If he wanted to he could of paralyzed them both with Senbon and finished them off.

Naruto had Gamabunta to help him and Shukaku wasn't even using his max potential in part 1.
If he was, he would of turned the Land of Fire into a gigantic desert.

I'm saying part 2 power creeps were ridiculous. Naruto went from KCM all the way to RSM in a day or two.

Getting full controll/friends with the kyubi was one of the main parts also.

The entire war arc and beyond was basically showing us things he didn't show us before.

I agree with this mostly.

The power inflation was ridiculous. Two kids surpassing the Kages and eleties was embarrassing, the lack of power development to any characters that weren't villains or mains was horrible and made the ninjas of the 5 nations seem like absolute garbage. lower Naruto and Sauske's power levels, increase other characters' power levels to compensate, and have it be a team battle

However, I would not have Madara disapear. Instead, I would have him succeed in forcing Obito to revive him the first time he attempts it [when Obito runs away from Kakashi], in turn making it so that Obito NEVER becomes the Juubi's jinchuriki, but rather Madara. From there, Madara fights the Hokages like Obito did, and is defeated by having the Juubi ripped out, and dies.

Naruto managed to defeat Kabuto, who was at least Kakashi's level during the the Tsunade rescue arc.
And Naruto getting help from Gamabunta doesn't make a difference.

lastly,How weren't Sasuke and Naruto Kage tier pre war? Regular jonin were a joke to them in part-1.

I don't think so. Madara had simply received too much hype and praise to just go like that w/o having any significance to the plot after being brought back. If this was going to be the case, I would have at least wanted him to kill 3 of the Kages.
