I just don't think Rin would be anything really except a medic.

If she didn't die, leaf most likely would have been destroyed since the Mist was using Isobu as a trap inside of her. Rin wouldn't have been able to return to the village since the Mist ninja would have survived. Then, if worst comes to worst, they'd release the Isobu which would either kill her, or make her back to her regular self again.

The leaf didn't bother training their jinchuriki. They didn't train Kushina or Mito, and Naruto went all the way to Kumo to train, and they were fighting Kumo in the war.

Couldn't she have controled the bijuu? Afterall Obito and Kakashi had sharingan to supress the bijuu and Kushina could have taught Rin a bit of how to control a bijuu
