There's nothing obvious about that. You're just cherrypicking. You can't claim that all religions are right because that would directly contradict what the religions say about one another.
I don't like the term 'religion' to be honest. It's the same damn thing repeated everywhere. Just it's different forms. You're telling me they contradict each other and I'm rationalizing them to come up with a scientific like idea; yet if there's zero truth in it; how can I even rationalize on said mentionings and statements? There isn't a smoke without fire.
And the fact that they share similarities isn't a work of the divine.
I never said it was a work of divine. It's the work of human beings like you and me. But where the hell did all of them get the same idea on how to write said-said thing as said-said?
Most cultures in history shared similarities and common practices. That doesn't mean there was any sort of godly intervention or spiritual enlightenment.
Well they themselves write gods interfered and came down to them to teach them certain technologies. Do you think they're lying?
Humans think alike, regardless of culture and one of the easiest ways to rationalize the world without prior knowledge of science, laws of physics, evolution, etc. is to suggest that it was created by greater beings that watch over us.
You do know this is all you, labeling them as 'delusional' enough to not think with the mind of a teenager/adult. There are many scientific proofs which infer thier technologies are irreplicatable today; implying they had better scientific knowledge than what we know today. You also seem to be of the pre-concieved notion that scientifical notions were birthed to, during the modern era and that Newton and Einstein discovered plus explained them to us. When in fact you're wrong. Alexander Graham Bell gave praise to The Vedas of Ancient India; which's writings still are in existence today; in credit for discovering the Telephone. He even said to his audience to pay a 10-minute respect by standing up to India.

You wouldn't be able to explain that the human body is made of atoms and strings of DNA and how the Sun was a ball of plasma and that color is merely the wavelengths of light that we perceive. It's a lot easier just to say there is a God beyond understanding with immeasurable power that controls all things. Let's use kids as an example, I'm sure you as a young child tried to explain certain aspects of the world which ended up being wrong as you grew up. I know when I was young, I thought you could breath in space which evidently turned out to be not true.
Except you fail to acknowlege that during ancient times; 'adults' existed. You seem to think they possessed child like intellect when there's clear scientific proofs to debunk that notion. When something happen; we research with our current technologies which give rise to new technologies; which is what the ancients also did. 98% of major modern day discoveries are derivations of what existed in the ancient world. Even Nikola Tesla, agrees to the fact; Jesus found a way to convert his body into light which's the original state of the body. The same guy who's considered the most iconic scientist of our generation.

Religious stories are adopted for a variety of reasons. It could make a more compelling story to draw a larger audience or for religions that were spoken by word of mouth, stories got mixed into together and became part of that religion. Take the bible for example. It was a bunch of stories written in different eras of time by different people and molded into one book. Early Christians would probably not accept half of the New Testament as legitimate.
This might be true if it was just writings alone. But it's not. We've tangible proofs that certain things occured like they are described in ancient booklet's. The dead bodies of pharoahs have been discovered undersea along with his army which chased moses and israelities. You should observe how in the heck booklets written in completely different eras sound inter-lapping with each other when you compare one's occurences with other's and the seamlessness of stringing between each book like Psalms with Revelations; matches; crystal-perfectly, which does mean they occured; when observed with other tangible proof at hand.

In current society, Christians accept that Christmas was the day for birth of Christ, yet Christmas itself and its traditions were taken from the Nordic Winter Festival of Yuletide which evolved after the Vikings integrated with Europeans and converted to Christianity.

What Christians accept as fact/not is not of anyone's concern.

Is it stated in the bible?

Does it have a tangible proof under what they claim it to be?

If not, then no, because books like Bible are officially recognized as 'fact' by Albert, Nikola, and most breakthrough scientists of this century and have tangible proof abiding them.
