The poor Hyuga Clan

Hiashi constantly states that the Hyuga are the strongest clan in the village and for a while it seemed like that could actually be possible. Then Itachi came walking in with Tsukuyomi.... Then part 2 happened. I would think Kishi would use Part 2 and Neji to upgrade the Byakugan or use the Hiashi vs his brother fight to showcase the Hyuga. But no he's left them behind and it's kind of sad. Of the konoha 11 Neji showed the most promise. When Kishi made him a jonnin in part 2 I thought for sure he would get some upgrades but nah.

It sickens me to no end the way the Hyuuga's have been treated, but then again..we don't know EXACTLY what Kishi has in store for the future of the manga. Fingers crossed.

I think in the anime when the war starts that they will show some of Nejis and Hinatas new techniques that they didnt show in the manga but still i hope that Kishi reveles a secret ability that the byakugan the Hyuuga posses.

The Hyuga were arrogant and constantly overrating themselves. The only reason they could claim to be the strongest was because the two strongest clans died out. Even so, The Aburame and Akimichi clans seem stronger. So maybe they were always just full crap.
