The plan that Sasuke made don't have sense.

Think with me: Sasuke decided to be the "Hokage in the Shadows" just after Hashirama tell his history.

At that point, the most powerful thing Sasuke could do is a Legged Susanoo, he could not even do a Perfect Susano yet.

So why a guy smart like Sasuke would make a plan that obviously he couldn't complete, he would be killed by the gokages easily.

His plan makes sense now after a thousand power ups, but when he made the plan it was a shit plan.

I think it was a Kishimoto mistake in the plot.

Sasuke upgraded to a legged susano'o without even a days worth of experience. In a month, Sasuke would have been able to take down any force that opposed him.

I've been wondering the same thing but then remembered that he had the edo hokage under his control. By using the edo hokage to deal with the alliance and he deal with Naruto things might've worked out.

Plus remember as far as he knew all Naruto had was Sage mode. He didn't have EMS at the time they fought at the bridge so he figured he could take out sage Naruto with his new EMS. No one imagine Naruto would gain control of and befriend Kurama.

Plus he could put the tailed beasts under his control with his ems.
