or obito turns good again after seeing naruto's spirit to never give up and has a change of heart and then madara will pull his trump card causing obito to die

I agree with what seems to be the majority, if not a significant percentage of NB.. thematically, Obito is Kakashi's "responsibility" to resolve given their intertwined lives (much like the way Naruto has claimed responsibility to resolve Sasuke). Madara or Naruto could likely be the one(s) to "defeat" him.. but I think his life will be fated with Kakashi's (one will kill the other, or they will die at each other's hands). The most recent chapter foreshadows (what else, this IS Naruto..) some TnJ changing Obito.. but I think he's killed way too many innocent people and went too far to come back to being "good" - I expect TnJ to play a major part in distracting/delaying Obito long enough for the Juubi to be stopped.

Either Naruto or Madara. I can see Naruto winning the fight and Obito being battered, and then Madara takes his chance and switches as the Juubi Jinchuriki, effectively killing Obito.

Kishimoto introducing and mentioning stuff and then forgetting about them is pretty much standard by now, what manga have you been reading?

Naruto is an almost perfect messiah archetype and Obito is an almost perfect antimessiah archetype (Kishimoto dropped all subtlety when he gave him horns), there's no way Naruto isn't the one vanquishing him.

I think Madara will kill Obito. I think Kakashi is correct about Obito's fascination with Naruto. After some more fighting with Sasuke and Naruto, Obito will be weakened and be more amenable to Naruto's TNJ than he has been so far. Sasuke will want to kill him but Naruto won't let him. Even though Kakashi feels as though it is his duty to handle Obito he will go alon with Naruto's decision not to kill him. Madara will try to use his plan and because of TNJ, Obito will have just enough power to sabotage Madara's plan so Madara will kill him.

I believe this...I feel Kishi will have Obito get weakened from his fight with Naruto and Sasuke. Then Madara will spring his trap and kill Obito. I feel the next time it cuts to Hashirama and Madara... Madara will have already captured Hashirama. Or one of his clones will show sign of being controlled. I feel the lack of them being shown implies Madaras plan will work.

I believe we will get to see the way he gets the power from Hashirama...like not the fighting in between just the last moment of Madara impaling Hashirama. Once that happens I feel Madara will use something on a weakened Obito.
