Lets start off with what sanji can do before we get to what he can't.

Lets look at his weaknesses

You all know this but here is the breakdown.

Luffy's fighting style is raw power and destruction. He fights unpredictably and like a tornado.

Zoro fights like a tiger powerful and dangerous. He cuts all the things in his way.

BUT sanji doesn't have Luffy's ability to destroy almost anything or zoro's ability to cut. He is limited to external blows in combat meaning if he can't break through your "walls" he is S!@# out of luck. Sanji has to hit you where you are weak to get his blows to damage you shown as most of his kicks are for your face and your neck. He has no power to harm you internally and if you are like a wall he can't touch you. His worst opponent Is Diamond Jozu Regardless of admirals or Yonko's if Sanji can't break through your surface he can't hurt you making the man made of diamond his worst nightmares.

Here sanji explodes in rage. Something that may have been comical but its very important. The perfect power up for sanji would be Rokuogan. Ill give you a second to go google that. ♫♫♪Jeopardy music♪♪♫
Its the technique Lucci used against luffy where he transferred force inside of his body. Sanji has always been foreshadowed to use fire to burn his enemies. He uses Rokushiki to fly so he can already use Rokushiki.

So if Sanji as portrayed is to follow the third foreshadow flame attack it would make sense for Him to use Rokugan in tandem with Explosive force to destroy the enemy from the inside out. It would overcome all his weaknesses (Doors) and complement his strength, as he doesn't need to be long range, thriving in close combat and able to close island levels of gaps.

TL;DR
Rokugan + Explosive legs to damage the enemy from the inside out making them explode on the inside.

Sanji's moves are a tad different from CP9 though. Also he won't close the gap. He will get further behind Zoro just as Zoro will be further behind Luffy

Roukyogun is only for those that have mastered all styles of Ryushiki
I think there is a better chance of him either learning from another art's kenpo (there are a lot of them) or the Eight Impacts style from Hanakuni.

Btw, I expect Zoro to learn a few things from Wanokuni as well

He is better at close range and has the speed to close island level gaps so why would he need that if he can just blitz back to close range where he is best?

It's true that his speed is outstanding and that he's the fastest straw hat but someone would always need a long range attack to close the gab between him and the enemy,sky walk puts pressure on him (not that much but still)

Unless you are accross the world he can reach you before you can launch an attack. Sanji > Bullet speed. So firing an attack when he can launch his body faster is pointless.

What about using Ideo's destruction cannon with his legs? Or using Hassoukin with his feet like Sai? Lots of internal damage there.

I want to see Sanji focus on his CoA feats. more at the time being, maybe his next opponent should be a logia-user this time and a strong one at that. Rankyaku would be sexy and would add to his DC feats. (even though I think his DC is fine where it is) and basically just more CoA. Vergo fractured his leg without using haki either, so improving on his CoA should be his top priority. CoA infused Rankyaku's? God damn, that'll slice some people up easy. His CoO is on point and maybe he'll get more powerups related to that once Oda branches out the haki types fully. (kinda of like how Usopp was able to see people's auras, maybe Sanji would get some other variant that'll benefit him greatly somehow, idk)

A new power-up would be great and fighting one of the BM people could be the perfect time for it.
But i also have to agree with Corazon that Oda should give him more haki feats in the future. His destructive kicks with good CoA will be awesome as **** and a new power-up would not be needed, though i really want to see that as well.

Knowing Oda and how he treats Sanji makes me believe it that nothing much will happen, but let's hope for the good. He definitely deserves that moment to shine and to show some ***s in the OP fanbase that he is a powerful mofo.

I'm not a fan of Rankyaku Sanji, at least not the normal Rankyaku because it's a cutting technique. It would make him like a swordsman or something. Flame based Rankyaku however is something i can see him achieving, but more importantly, i think he needs Hasshoken techniques because i think it suits his style the most

Uh, I'd say Rokushiki in General. Gives him the ability to cut to a lesser extent than Zoro, internally damage opponents and take advantage of his speed

Not finished reading yet, but Sanji can in fact damage people internally. I think you ran wild with that wall thing.

He restructured the noodle guys face using his bones and junk. If that's not a prime example of internal damage I don't know what is.
