Just making this to answer questions/respond to statements made about recent chapters and topics. It's my opinion, you don't need to agree, but I will ask you to respect it. Enjoy!
Kakashi's death.
Is it possible? Yes.
Will it happen? Unlikely.
Last chapter just had them going into the Kamui dimension, that's it. Why? To set it up for their big talk. Yes. Kakashi is going to tell his side of the story and why he did everything. It's either going to set Obito over the edge or make him come to his senses. On one of the panels Kakashi asks Obito internally "What are you trying to validate with Naruto?" Meaning; why do you keep asking Naruto the same things, why push him when you know what the answer is? Obito is very much like Sasuke. Last chapter he didn't get annoyed or indifferent to Naruto's words, in fact he looked curious and like he was thinking for once. As annoying as it is, Obito may turn against Madara.
Now you may ask "Then what about what he said about being the Jinchuriki of the Juubi?" It might be foreshadowing him attempting to do that. Why? Because that's the only way to stop it now (in a short amount of time). HOWEVER. I don't think he will be able.. I know there is evidence that can be shoved in my face saying otherwise, but I think his death will come when he tries to seal the Juubi.
Also, since Sasuke is coming back, you KNOW there is going to be a huge team 7 reunion, so why kill off the teacher? If Kishi wanted Kakashi dead, he would've died or been stuck in the Kamui dimension the first time Obito attacked him.
Obito's death.
Is it possible? Yes.
Will it happen? Most likely.
Obito is destined to get his wish, to be with Rin. He's destined to die at the hands of either Minato, Kakashi, or his own as retribution for his acts. He will finally go down as a hero for what he is about to do after Kakashi talks to him. Obito, just like Sasuke has been going on the wrong path. At the end of this chapter it was clear that Obito was thinking about his actions again when he was talking to Naruto, when Naruto said "The hell would you know? You're a loner, so you wouldn't understand." That seemed to stick with him. Right after that (I know I said this before in here) Kakashi questioned internally to Obito "What are you trying to validate?" To me, that's a perfect setup for a transformation of a character. Like it or not, it's bound to happen I think.
Obito will die trying to seal the Juubi or trying to stop Madara. Either that or be killed by Kakashi.
Final words: "Now I can finally be in a world of peace, with Rin."
Sasuke's death.
Is it possible? Yes.
Will it happen? Unlikely.
Naruto's goal at the end of part 1 and all of Shippuden has been to bring Sasuke back. People argue that he has failed and that Hashi was the one to do that. Sasuke isn't "back" he is just realizing all the shit he's done was pointless and has now gained an actual goal. Some people will also argue that bringing him back wasn't Naruto's goal, his goal was always to become stronger and closer to his dream.
Here's the breakdown.
Naruto's dream from day 1 was to be Hokage. Why? Because then his fellow villagers who have shunned him for so long would show respect, praise, and love. Ever since he came back from the Mist Arc in part 1, people have been slowly warming up to him. During the finals of the chunnin exams he seemed to win over even more people. (Here's the plot hole.. he beat Neji, why wasn't he given chunnin?) Anyway, then skip ahead to the Pein Arc. After the fight everyone cheered, praised, and celebrated all for him and since then has been seen as a mini hero.
Why am I telling you all this? Simple.
People keep saying he is going to be the next Hokage, which might be true, but he doesn't need that title any more and he definitely won't need it after the war. I think he's going to give it to Sasuke so he has a chance to prove himself. Sasuke's goal now is to protect the leaf and not let it go to waste, what better position could he have in order to do this? If he doesn't give it to Sasuke, he'll give it to Shikamaru for sure. I personally would like to see both of them be Hokage.
Even if we think with all the bad things Sasuke did, and I can see why people are saying there is no way he will be able to go back.. it's already been decided since he said he won't let his brothers will or the village go to waste, Kishi wouldn't have written such strong words, for Sasuke no less (we all know when Sasuke makes up his mind, it's done) if he wasn't going to fully carry out these words. To do that he'd have to go back to the Leaf. I'm sure people won't welcome him back with open arms, but I'm sure Naruto will quote Itachi. "He's done wrong things, but it's also wrong to just blame him."
Naruto's death.
Is it possible? No. Get out.
Thoughts? I'd love to know. Any troll responses will be ignored. I put a decent amount of thought into this, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Again, It's my opinion, you don't need to agree, but I will ask you to respect it.
