Killer Bee survived the extraction because he chopped his leg off. It's almost the same thing Minato did when splitting Kurama between himself and newly born Naruto. Except Bee got way less. Instead of half of Hachibi, he got 1/8th, which apparently allowed him to survive despite having the rest extracted.

I mean, lots of kept asking how killerbee survived, or if he even survived (before the last movie came out).

The only time that happened was vs Sasuke, vs Madara and vs Momo and Kinshiki. He's always done that with his tail.

What's that have to do with what I said? Some people might still wonder how he survived. That tiny panel is tiny and easy to miss. If you didn't pay close attention you could've easily been wondering how he survived, like I did.

Don't know the relevance of him doing it against momo and kinshiki...I mean. Unless you mean we're supposed to assume he cut his tail off in that fight? Which was off screen.

Noticed the panel and immediately figured it was him pulling off the same stunt he did with Sasuke and Amaterasu, Bee was relatively popular and I doubt kishi would've killed him off just to leave the Hachibi alone. I liked to also think that it was Samehada which kept him alive as it was full of the Hachibi's chakra.
