Change
Yoku strode on the path towards the Land of Wind from Land of the Fire. He knew both were overpopulated, but at least there weren't as many skyscrapers in the Sand. Plus, he could become extremely rich extremely quickly there. That was his goal. He loved change. Change of home, change of job, but certainly not change of heart. He strutted down the last pasture of the world, tipping his hat to all the tourists who were seeing what this "bird" is that they saw on their television sets. He observed the conversation a tour guide had with her tour group of students.
"Miss, do you like your job?" a boy asked.
"Of course! It's fun to be around all of these exotic things: oxygen that hasn't been processed yet, grass, and above all this strange thing called a tree!" she responded, "What do you kids want to be when you grow up?"
Mixed answers came back as, "Secretary of Envelope Stuffing! Stock holder! Accountant!" and one girl murmured, "Ninja..."
The kids answered, "That sounds lame and boring! Who needs them? How many are there now, five? Get out of here freak!"

Yoku strolled through the Sand Village Metropolis. He brushed a little smog off and trudged through the concrete jungle. He want wanted change for that poor girl. He wanted change for the city, change for what little nature there was, and certainly wanted change for the world. He needed to be Kazekage for this, and that would not be easy. To be kage material, one had to be the wealthiest businessman or woman in the city. He knew what he would do. He would be the garbage man, the highest paying job in the city.
-------------------------------------------------------
After about five years, he amassed about 1 trillion ryo, just above average pay. He wanted more than that though! He wanted more money. So, he worked a second job as an envelope stuffer, a popular job, and earned enough money to be considered kage material. He campaigned across the land, promising change and lots of it. This melted people's hearts, and gave him standing ovations.
One night, he returned to his penthouse exhausted. After a day of campaigning, he just wanted to relax. He turned on the television, and got his truly regal, and rare meal of ramen to eat. A true testament to his wealth. Most people ate processed seaweed. He watched the news as they reported the results so far from the election of Kazekage. Voters unanimously were voting for Yoku. The reporter woman remarked, "Change might be coming after all!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
In the final days of the election, all except the region of Kazeshini had voted for Yoku. Crowds cheered, women kissed his feet, and many waved as he passed by to become Kazekage. Everyone enjoyed the festivities.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Yoku indeed brought a lot of change, as he promised. All of Kazeshini was blown to smithereens to make way for more housing, the Ninja Exclusion Act evicted ninjas from the Land of Wind, and shoved them into the Sand's overseas colonies. The Environment Act burned down all that was left of nature to expand the capital city, and the Positive Thinking Act forced all citizens to only speak in favor of Yoku. He brought great change, a new era of his control over everything, and pain and sorrow that the Land of Wind had never seen.
