But how did tobi make the juubi intangible when he didnt even touch it while kakashi was using his kamui or did he become intangible to go to the other dimension then send it back?

What i dont get is if he travels to the other dimension when he becomes intangible how come people can still see him in the normal dimension?

good theory.. But my thought was that instead to the other dimension, kakashi teleported the kunai directly to tobi the moment tobi solidified himself just after naruto passed through... Remember, when kakashi warped deidara's arm using kamui, Kakuzu found it somewhere..

My theory is that either The Sage, The Elder Son, Madara, or another powerful Uchiha created this other dimension for some purpose and only the Uchiha with the correct abilities could access it.

The bolded is my exact question, it seems like a bit of a plot hole tbh. But considering his jutsu, Tobi would not have as much of an advantage if he disappeared entirely. The fact that he still appears in the real world allows him to easily fool his opponents.

Didn't see that, Its a nice explanation but i like mine better.

Cocky much?

I bet if everyone were to say his was better you'd still be bias just because it's your post
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Btw, why does everyone keep saying it hit tobi in HIS Dimension?

<<<

Clearly we see naruto experiencing the blast as well but the force is all on tobi since it impacted him.

Kakashi CANNOT bring things back with Kamui as stated. So why do people keep saying he brought it back???????????

Kakashi is using Tobi's own jutsu on him by sending things away and when he materializes it grabs that object with him thats closest without him being able to stop it.

I'm guessing that physical items that come in contact with his body stays in "view". That part of his body goes to the other dimension and he brings it back. That would also explain another theory that I won't get into. However, Guy said when he sucks things in he is solid. SO the true test would be can he suck things in and be intangible at the same time. That would be the plot hole. Now that I think about it here is the answer..

Idk how else would the rasengan hit him, Kakashi can't tansport it back so it had to hit him in the other dimension.

For the first part of your theory, yes I will agree "damn you are good" xd

As for the second part, I don't understand how that answers your own question (or why you even asked the question then attempted to answer it haha ;))

We still don't know the answer to that. Your example is like Konan's attack. Both of those attacks were able to DAMAGE Tobi because of the nature of the attacks/jutsu.

If this doesn't make sense think of it like this: If Tobi had sucked up Deidara while using C4, he is taking either = amount of damage he took from Konan or quite possible death. If he is going to attempt to suck you in then it is going to leave him even more open AKA give Tobi's attacker (Kakashi) more time to use Kamui for instance. Here we go:

He couldn't be reckless with "dimensional transfers" because he would have died. So with all of these things I have laid out, it should make sense now:

1.) In this past chapter (or maybe for good from this point forward we will have to see...) we cannot use the word "intangible" when describing Tobi. He is always tangible but we can't really decipher what part is tangible/physical in the regular dimension or what part is tangible/physical in his/Kakashi's dimension.

2.) Kakashi knew Tobi was going to try to grab Naruto (it's really Tobi's purpose/goal at this point) so Tobi HAD to make his left arm/side tangible in the regular dimension to grab Naruto, and of course Tobi knows the strategy they all use to fight him (see above) hence why his right arm was damaged because it was in the other dimension where Kakashi sent the Rasengan.

3.) Tobi is clearly careful with his "dimensional transfers". Tobi obviously tried to grab Naruto's arm/hand with the rasengan for multiple reasons but most importantly because the rasengan is thrusted toward the opponent which leaves Tobi safer.

So in reality Tobi is actually harder to fight because the strategy that Minato made and anyone else who has fought him only works if: 1: You are faster than Tobi's dimensional shift (Minato) and/or 2: You can teleport objects into his dimension (Kakashi). The 3rd: Your example which is really only luck because in essence Tobi absorbed Torune who turned his entire body into a venom/poison bomb.

So yes he can suck things in and be partly-intangible (which at this point only means whatever part of his body is in the other dimension) but obviously not completely or rather I should say Tobi obviously wouldn't do that even though logically he could.
