Before i begin, i know there is a Japanese/Chinese real life movie which some speculate that Fujitora is based upon but it wasn't confirmed by Oda or his producers so suck it! Lol

So, we know Oda was an assistant to Rurouni Kenshin's mangaka Watsuki before he became a mangaka himself. We even saw the Strawhat jolly roger for the first time in Rurouni Kenshin. There was a character in RK named Usui who was a blind swordsman. He's nothing like Issho in design or personality in my opinion. Then I saw this:
The "assistant" is most likely Oda. Oda had a blind swordsman in his mind even before starting One Piece.
Usui's ability to listen to his opponents heart to predict the next attack also happens to be very similar to Color of Observation haki.
