I believe I now know who or what created ninjutsu. Some1 may have already said it but here it is...

We know that everyone assumed the sage created ninjutsu but he clearly said he did not. In this last chapter bz said I created the story of shinobi.... I beleive this son aka black zetsu is who created ninjutsu. For his story he figured out how to make ninshu into the weapon.. he created ninjutsu.

Hagoromo had ninjutsu too though. Maybe he distributed chakra, and this chakra allowed people to share their minds. However it didn't solve anything, so they broke it and used it for war. He may not have created ninjutsu, but he had the blueprints.

I liked the interpretation that I had better, which was spoon fed to us by Obito; Hagoromo was the first to discover and use chakra, combining spiritual (mind) energy to create form and using physical energy to give that form substance, the basis for ninjutsu. Hagoromo taught people to utilize chakra to make their lives better (which I interpreted as helpful techniques, like medical jutsus). But people corrupted Hagoromo's teachings after his death and weaponized it.

The last part is the same as Madara explained, the rest just wasn't so hippie. "We all need to connect our spirits together, man!" Dammit, Hagoromo sounds like Tommy Chong in my head!

I feel like people were of course going to use jutsus just like Hagoromo, that was unavoidable. Though I can't fault him for trying to find a way to bring people together.

It's super lame though how it was changed that people didn't have chakra until Hagoromo gave it to them... that doesn't even make sense. Chakra comes from your body and spirit. Hell, spiritual energy may as well be the energy of your very soul, and using too much body energy makes you fatigued (panting, sweating, etc.). Did they not have souls before chakra? Could they move?
