i've read enough manga and American comics to know that side characters don't get a lot of development because they are largely inconsequential to the overall plot, so you can take your hipster attitude to someone who thinks you have a license to qualify who is or isn't familiar with "good" literature. Who cares about the other K11 fodder? Shikamaru making strategies against the Juubi was big. In fact Kishi made a good use of his skills of let him lead the War and give advice, there's no need for him to be fighting the Uchihas.

This story was revolved around Team 7 so let Team 7 finish the job. Naruto and Sasuke are all that matter, no need for fodders like Ino, Tenten, and Hinata to get involved.

The Uchihas are the only clan that have made this story interesting along with Naruto's heroism. The Uchihas are good at ninjujustu, genjutsu,taijutsu,shuriken ninjutsu, kenjutsu.

Who wouldn't wank these guys? Lemme guess, probably people who are bothered by their arrogance, cliche lines, people who hate them for that are pretty petty. Oh wait then there's an excuse like "The Uchihas are robbing all of the attention fro my fave" type of deal.
