It entirely depends on starting distance,knowledge of where the opponent is, and terrain.
The further the starting distance, flatter/infoiliaged terrain, and knowledge of starting positions are Temari wins.
The shorter range, more foliaged (trees rocks, etc), and less they know about starting position (I.E. go into this forest and fight one another), the better chance for Hinata to win.
OT: Temari was graced with not having a focused love interest, and a personality that doesn't allow for "fangirling". So luckily she doesn't get constantly viewed as "wanting the D".
I also like Temari. Smart, strong, independent. Though it helps that she's less of a side character than some of the other females as she doesn't have to have her affections be shown/hinted at constantly.
Though you kind of excluded Chiyo and Konan who are also really cool female characters.
I like pretty much every character/see a purpose for every character so I have to disagree in saying Temari is the only good one.
