I mean it made me cry, it was so emotional and sad. not the ending, but the ending of one of the arcs.

I have searched over about 100 anime now and finnaly oh so finnaly I have found something that brought the feels

only the last episode of anohana was a bit sad it wasn't that sad or emotional compared to the other 2, but it did slightly bring the feels.

but anyway I really recommend higurashi. just beware season 1 is very gruesome gory and even a tiny tiny tiny tiniy tiny bit scary.

One piece Marineford arc was the saddest event I've ever witnessed in anime or manga besides maybe the eclipse in Berserk. But that was more just purely ****ed up than sad.
