Zoro was ready to die for his captian. He is so loyal to the point where he thinks for the captian. When zoro lost his friend usopp. Someone who saved eachother fought together and bleed together. He was willing to let him go because it was best for the crew. Even urging luffy to not cave in simply because his loyalty lies to the Straw hats flag. This man looked down on fish men monsters while they had his neck wraped in a monsterous claw. His eyes pushing fear down his enemies throat as he bleed to death. He litterally cut a train in half at luffy's orders. He is so loyal and brave that he threw away his lifes dream bowing to the man he vowed to kill so he could return to his crew again.

Nami was able to throw away her childhood and most of her life for her village. She was smart enough as a child to know that fighting wasnt enough to always win. She valued her life less than a bit of suffering for her fellow human. Even more when faced with the monsters of her torment she was able to rise above it and forgive them. Then save them.
