I personally don't like Kakashi at all.

In my opinion he's a pretty boring character and I've never really liked him. What really ruined him for me was his fanboys though... It's just so sad how many people think that Kamui alone makes him God-Tier...

The only thing I ever liked about him was when he lost to Naruto and Sakura cause he didn't want to hear any spoilers about Jirayas new book

Kakashi isn't disliked because he doesn't mess with any pairings and he isn't really directly related to any drama in this time other than the Obito thing. So there's no real reason to hate him. Hes a cool guy.
