The Older Son of the Sage of Six Path's. Kakashi's statements. Hyuga and Uchiha.

This is my first thread so I hope it meets expectations--for a first timer...LOL
I wanted to know all of your opinions on the Hyuga clan's origins--i.e. can they also be from Rikudo as well. Mainly the older son. My basis for this question comes from Kakashi's statements of "The Uchiha having origins in the Hyuga clan".

Do you think Kishi was just pulling something out the air or is there more to the older brother's story?
If it's true that the Uchiha clan has origins in the Hyuga clan, does that make the older son's eyes the combination of the Byakugan and Sharingan; because if the Uchiha originated for the Hyuga, doesn't that mean the Sharingan originated from the Byakugan?

The older son's eyes looks to be the combination of the Byakugan and the Sharingan.

During Hinata and Neji’s battle in the Chunnin exams, after activating their Byakugans, Kakashi states that there are rumors that the Uchiha’s Sharingan is possibly an off-shoot of the Hyuga’s Byakugan. Kakashi even goes on to state that the Uchiha clan itself possibly stems from the Hyuuga clan. Of course, this is but a rumor, however all rumors have an origin.

Look at the eyes of the elder son, it dont look white it looks Redish not white like byakugan, that upper pic is just fanstyle. if it the son's eyes were white would'nt it look more creamy instead like the collar of his attire.

Can you give the chapter where he says that. I just want to see proof because I don't recall Kakashi ever saying that, but Jiraiya does, and here's the proof. I think your mixing them up.

Seems just like a plot disagreement accidentally written in by Kishi. It is very clear that the story we are being told now was not planned out far in advance, especially this far back; it was simply not written into the world at the time of the above statements by Kakashi. I chalk it up to simply being a different world in Kishi's mind at the time, he wrote this detail in about said vision, but ended up not pursuing it.

Hatred is the power of uchihas and they are more powerfull with more hatred but hyugas kekkei genkai is born ability and all they do is sensory type justsu,sharingan on the other hand able to cast genjutsu and many other jutsu and it goes to mangekyo to rinnengan.The uchiha ancestor had extreme hatred to his brother and it passed down to generations..to the uchihas.
So even if the uchihas and hyugas are from same ancestor it seems that uchihas inherited more from him and hyugaas are just sub lineage.So it is unlikely that sharingan is a shoot-off from byakugan.

it was stated in the databooks that the sharingan mutated from the byakugan. That said, the info is old enough to be pre-chuunin exams. My theory is that going into the exams heset it up to go two ways. A. the one he used...sasuke is the lone guy from his clan besides his rogue brother, he has a vendetta with itachi and the world so he turns evil. or plan B. neji has the elitist mentality of being far better than everyone, and we only later find he was of the servant caste of his clan, adding not only haughtiness but a disdane for the leadership family which could just as easily combine to make him evil. I think kishi kept both pretty covered until he saw which his audience would prefer, most preffered sasuke so he then started to write him in as not ust a douchebag loner but turning evil and then going rogue.

I just thought up a weakness in your argument. Why didn't the younger son have the Byakugan? The younger son is the beginning of the Senju clan, but the 1st, 2nd, and 5th hokages didn't have Byakugan, and their all from the Senju clan. If the young son's decendants don't have Byakugan, then he didn't have it either.
