Guy's only time to ever unleash the Eighth Gate is in this fight, rest assured, he'll die for Lee's own development. I'll be beyond surprised if Lee unleashes the Eighth gate before Guy. Now that would be surprising.

About the Gai/lee thing .. I can see Gai sensei and Rock Lee going mad because of Nejis death .. Gai loves everyone of his students and Rock lee saw Neji as a good friend/rival ..

Shino won't die for the sole reason.. He isn't that important to make a huge impact to anybody... But if his family dies. He actually might get mad.i say guy dying for lee development . Ima be sad also seeing as lee is my fav if he die. Chouji had his power up. Vs asuma so he can't get no madder
