There is a strong possibility that Obito - as ridiculously stupid this may sound - will revive the slain men like Nagato did. As only with his change of heart will this shonen's gag-worth cliche prevail. To be honest, Neji is the only character along with Haku and Zabuza I want to see revived to their former state. But, since it isn't possible for the latter, I can safely assume Naruto will some how find a way to revive his friends, because he made a funny, and unrealistic promise. Don't rule out his restoration yet.

Amazing chapter, but also a very sad one. Kishi surprised friend and enemy that he had the balls to kill someone from the beloved K11. Neji will be missed but his death was epic. But also very dark. Even the bird got killed, that was more seinen stuff then shounen actually. But again, amazing chapter, 5/5.

Not really that,the. Reason why he can't do that is because he basically has to bring his spirit back to his body and that's impossible cause its like you grabing yourself by the leg and throwing yourself,if he tries it he would die in mid way of the jutsu and his spirit would be bodyless the person using the jutsu has to be alive until the person is fully ressurected,just like pain did,if pain had died mid way of that jutsu all those souls wouldn't have reached their bodies they would just stop in the air and that's it

I never wanted anyone to die, even though it is a manga. I hate it when something bad like this happens. I mean HQ died and I was like what but then it was fine because they are older, but then Neji dies and I was all sad because he is young and had a lot of potential.

And i hope they dont go and revive everyone who died like with pain, i love neji, but lets seem some drama happening, now he has finally been set free though I wouldnt be sad if he spoke to his dad and then sakura gave up her life to revive him.

Not sure if anybody has mentioned this already but I believe Neji is not entirely gone or "dead dead". When a character in the manga dies, there is formula that the author follows. First the character becomes the focal point in the current story arc or for a few chapters. Then right before the character dies, a flashback of his/her life takes place right before death.

Examples;
-Kisame. When he got "decapited" by the Bee and the Raikage. There was not flashback nothing. Then when he officially dies, you see the flashback of him and Itachi. Then performs the most hardcore epic form of suicide in the known ninja universe.
-Danzo. Right before his death, we see a flashback of him and the third hokage in the middle of a battle. Where he loses the title of hokage to sarutobi
-Konan. Right before her death we see a flashback of her time training under Jiraiya with Yahiko and Nagato

Point being, Neji death was to abrupt. When this happen to Kakashi during the invasion of Konoha arc. His death was as well abrupt and didnt follow the formula mentioned above and lo and behold; Kakashi is with us now. So I believe this will be the same case with Neji. (probably be revived by Obito turning good and using the resurrection technique pain used earlier in the manga). So for now, RIP Neji (soon to be "welcome back")

Great that Kishi has finally started killing off serious supporting characters. As much as I liked Neji, I genuinely hope he (or any other character that dies in this war) isn't revived, otherwise this death would be rendered completely meaningless and this manga will become DBZ.

I consider Part 1 and part 2 different Mangas anyway. Part 2 is shit, so I feel no emotion that one of my favorite characters is dead.
