That's actually the thing that annoys me the most, who this girl think she is coming in destroying the beautiful ship that was clearly Shisui/Itachi. Shisui was clearly Itachi's lover and this nobody girl? I'm denying her.

You have no idea just how much you're missing out, and especially for such a stupid reason.
If you're a true Itachi fan, you'll love every episode of his arc that has come out so far. Overall, they're amazing.

And don't take what other members are saying about Itachi and Shisui being gay seriously.
They're just awesome bros.

I wonder how Itachi/Shisui shippers will feel when and if a) The scene where Shisui teases Itachi about Izumi is shown (probably not with how fast SP is going) and b) Itachi gives Izumi a 70 yr Tsukuyomi where he gives her a ring, proposes, they get married, quit being shinobi, have kids, live together, take care of each other, cook for each other, their kids move out, and Izumi dying of old age as Itachi holds her (probably will be shown or skimmed over with how much SP seems to focus on Izumi... it's going somewhere).

I don't see how it's weird at all. lol But yes, they were just best friends/bros. Shisui ships ItachixIzumi:

Shisui: “By the way, how are things with that Uchiha Izumi girl?”

Itachi eyes widened as Shisui tried to change the topic forcibly.

Shisui: “Usually you’re so hard to read, but when it comes to this, you’re quite readable.”

Itachi: “What do you mean?”

Itachi averted his gaze from Shisui who smiled teasingly.

Shisui: “But when I bring up ‘Izumi’ name, you seem distracted.”

There’s no doubt that Izumi is one of my few friends. I feel it’s not only that, but when Shisui questioned me like this, I think it’s different. That's why I think it’s not like I have romantic feelings for her. In short, I don’t understand myself. Perhaps I do. I'm not entirely sure yet.

Itachi: “Leaving that aside, how’s your father’s condition?”

Shisui: “Running away from the topic, huh?”

With one last smirk from Shisui, they changed topic to Shisui’s father.

Keep in mind Itachi is 9 when the above conversation takes place, so he doesn't understand lovey-dovey feels yet. xD But he's figuring it out. Though, he never pursues any romance seriously as he's very focused on the Uchiha/village problems.

Going by the latest bs filler I didn't watch I wouldn't put em past making obito connected to it... such fodder ruined the one filler arc I wanted to watch..
