The number of Akatsuki memebers who could solo a bijuu.

Just like what the title says.Here's my list and reasons why these Akatsuki members can solo a bijuu:

Kisame:Chakra absorption and has already taken down Son Goku
Nagato:Rinnegan Techs and has captured several bijuu by himself.
Itachi:The Mangekyo Sharingan can control a bijuu which makes it easy for Itachi to win.
Obito:Kamui and can summon the Gedo Mazo statue if things get hairy.
Deidara:Aerial bombings plus being fast enough to avoid a TBB.

Some of the hosts just didn't do justice to the tailed beasts residing in them. Those in the list could all probably take out probably the 1 - 7 tailed beasts, anything higher then that they would NOT be able to solo by themselves except for the likes of Nagato and Obito. No Itachi can NOT control a tailed beast, only Madara and Obito could do that.

I think they can but it depends which Tailed Beast you're talking about. I know for a fact the only one who may have a chance in taking down Kurama is Nagato or Obito.

Kisame could solo some of the tailed beast because of Great Shark Bullet. It can absorb the chakara in the tbb and make the shark bullet even more powerful. Neji said that 30% Kisame had the same amount of chakara as Naruto

you say in your post bijuu, but do you mean jinchuriki? Because there's a difference and if actually mean bijuu, I would say Pein and Obito... itachi given the fight isn't drawn out, and kisame except against the (3 tails and 8 tails) I think they both are water animals so his water attacks would be pretty useless imo.

No, I meant bijuu as in they have no hosts and are roaming free.

All of them but Hidan should have enough power to solo a tailed beast. Akatsuk was made to take down such threats.. I have not seen enough from Hidan to claim he can.
