Tell me all you know about Yin, try and use your own understanding of it and combine it with what was in the manga/anime.
Yin is represents the spiritual side of the equation of life. It is femininity, the shadows, gathering, closeness, and regression. It is able to empower and take away spiritual abilities like Genjutsu and Yamanaka abilities, allows sensing of spiritual entities at higher levels, and gives the user greater control over the form of their techniques, whereas yang gives control over the vitality and life of one.

And how do you plan to use it? Need a little bit more on how this empowers Gen and/or spiritual abilities and techniques.
How does it work on AB?
I plan on using it to make my genjutsu harder to break out of via releases and more vivid with the use of elemental infusions into them. I also plan on changing their form to one that suits me. Yin has chakra draining attacks, intangible attacks that can turn tangible at will, and the yin state that allows a powerful genjutsu to be used among other boosts.

By enhancing gen I mean that it adds a rank to the technique needed to break the genjutsu via release or surge, adds elemental properties to it, and removes a method of release. These things are either done through yin techs or specialties. Yin doesn't do much of anything itself in regards to rp

The ability to boost spiritual techniques is more custom based, but this is due to yin itself being an energy based in spirituality, energy, and the unseen. Because it is so strong in spiritual energy

In AB using yin techniques is simply a matter of altering the yin and yang chakra ratios to produce different techniques and effects. Other than knowledge of the ratios and energy, it's not much different than creating a normal technique

Pretty good. I'd like to add some stuff. Both to your understanding of Yin-Yang in a Daoist sense and Yin in the NB sense. So what is interesting in Naruto is how well Kishi focused on the symbolic details of Yin and Yang. Naturally the first thing that comes to mind is Naruto and Sasuke. The former gained the Six Paths Yang Power, while the other gained the Yin Power. This dichotomy is applied to Hagoromo and Hamura as well, following the same split. Now this is noted not just from the fact that they were said to have these powers. But also from their Shakujo. If you notice Hagoromo's Shakujo, it is a circle at the top for the sun. This represents Yang. Hamura's represents Yin, so he has a more moon-like Shakujo. If you noted in the story, Obito's Shakujo matched Hagoromo's. While Madara's matched Hamura's. It once again shows the split. Obito represented Yang, Madara Yin. Now what becomes even more interesting is that when Madara gained the Rinne Sharingan and came as close as he could to Kaguya's powers, it actually represents Taiji. Now you hit on it a little bit: the Taijitu. Taiji is translated to the "Supreme Ultimate." This is what I believe Kaguya represented in the story. She is the progenitor of Chakra, the all encompassing entity who had ALL chakra at one point. It wasn't until Hagoromo and Hamura did other living beings have chakra. They represent Yang and Yin, respectively. So Kaguya, being Taiji, was basically "everything." And because everything is not distinguishable, having no noticeable differences, it isn't until Yin and Yang that there can be differences. Now in Daoism, before the Supreme Ultimate is Wuji. Wuji is the boundless infinity, or basically nothingness. So Naruto canon shows this. Before Kaguya ate the fruit, there was nothing. No chakra in living beings outside of the God Tree.

So one flaw in your characteristics of Yin is the creation of all things. Creation of All Things only occurs with both Yin and Yang. I'm talking about this in a Yin-Yang Daoist sense, not just the Naruto sense of Creation of all Things (Yin-Yang Release). This is because after Yin and Yang, you have the Ba Gua. But that's where it gets really wild. And it isn't really relevant to the training.

So yeah. Helpful words from Reborn: "Yin is also slower, meager, receptive, and indirect. when thinking of abilities of existing techniques and even custom techniques think of these aspects." - Reborn 2017

Anyways. I imagine the typical response to this will be "no questions." So if you have a question, post it regardless. But I'm going to post the Yin Release Mastery perks as well.
Specialty: At this point you do not have a declared specialty. You do not get to declare one until you at least finish the first nature you decide to learn, in which case, that would be the nature you specialize in. Essentially you choose which ever nature you think will fit you best if you're banking on getting Yin and Yang Release that is. I expect people to specialize in the skill they learn first, however I won't assume.

Elemental Manipulation: At this point you only possess the ability to manipulate multiple elements. You will gain the ability to use 1 hand sign for two specialties if you complete Yin-Yang Release.

Sensory: Only after completing Yin-Yang Release

Chakra Efficiency: Only after you complete Yin-Yang Release

Yin Release Specialty: If you decide to be a specialist in Yin, this comes after completion of Yin Release.

(Inton: Ten ni henkō) - Yin Release: Change into Heaven
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A (+50)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user manipulates a technique of the basic 5 elements with Yin nature, allowing him to change its properties. Fire can become solid. Lightning can become tangible. The possibilities are as endless as is the user’s own imagination. The end resulting technique is neutral to all basic elemental natures. This doesn't consume time since it’s actually a skill applied to a technique used at the same time.
Note: Yin Release masters can apply this technique to advanced fields, CE and advanced elements.
Note: Usable 3 times per battle and 6 times per event.

Let's discuss this one. Tell me what makes it OP.

This could be op because it can be used in the same timeframe as any advanced field, ce, or advanced element and can change the form and tangibility of it at will with this technique. It also makes the technique neutral to all basic elemental natures, but thats probably the weakest part of this. You could use this technique to do alot of exploits or last second changes to tangibility or form of a technique in order to have it affect the opponent or an enemy technique in a few ways. Its versatile and thus open ended, adding to it's utility.

Good.

The two major limitations to it are just altering the size (not allowed at all) and altering how its detected. There must always be at least one way to detect it. So you could make it totally invisible to the naked eye or make it have no scent, but there would still need to be at least one.

(Inton: Gogyou Gen) - Yin Release: 5 Elements Illusion
Spoiler
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A (+50)
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique allows the user to combine their elemental chakra with Yin Release in order to create stronger, more potent genjutsu. When the user casts a genjutsu, rather than using their raw chakra they will use one of the basic elemental natures, thus increasing the potency of the jutsu. The jutsu increases in strength by one rank and due to the massive amount of chakra used, the jutsu can penetrate through any subversive method against genjutsu. By using nature chakra rather than raw chakra, the properties of the genjutsu can change in accordance to that nature and become stronger. For example, using Crushing Snake Constriction with Fire Release chakra would make the snakes appear, feel, and sound as though they were on fire. As well, the technique would follow the rules of elemental genjutsu. The user is free to alter the effects of a genjutsu within reason as long as the primary effects remain the same.
Note: Can only be used 6 times per battle.
Note: Cannot be used on techniques above S-rank.
Note: Yin Release masters can use advanced elements and CE

A Genjutsu users' dream technique. Tell me a bit about it, and feel free to discuss. Don't be shy, mate.

Even if you made it invisible or without smell, you could still detect it with chakra right? Or does what you said mean you must be able to detect it using the basic senses? Thatd be cool if so.

Yeah this is pretty great. You use Yin release to boost your genjutsu so that it increases +1 Rank and "penetrates through any subversive method against genjutsu" .

If that part has any limitations it should be stated but it appears that this will make any genjutsu you use supersede any defensive abilities that allow a person to not be caught in a genjutsu at all. This doesnt seem to affect abilities that weaken genjutsu or affect them once they're placed on an opponent though, it's only effective against methods that completely disallow genjutsu to be placed, like Nekura abilities.

Alongside Yin chakra, one uses Nature chakra of their choice (sadly not Advanced Ninjutsu like poison however) to enhance the genjutsu in the perspective of the opponent as well. The element chosen can give off its sort of natural abilities and add it onto the genjutsu. For example, using fire would leave the user able to add heat to the genjutsu in some way. This technique is open ended in terms of the ways you can implement the element used in the genjutsu as well, increasing its versatility

Alright, I hope you understand what you can do with it, because there is quite a lot that can be done. And how it can be broken, if you're not clear on it do ask o-o.

(Inton: Gaki no Jutsu) - Yin Release: Hungry Ghost Technique
Spoiler
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A (+50)
Damage: N/A
Description: Hungry Ghost is a spiritual parasite created through the user’s Yin Release chakra. When using an elemental jutsu, the user will form the ram hand seal to seal the hungry ghost within their technique. Sealing the hungry ghost inside one’s technique happens within the same timeframe as their elemental technique. When the user’s technique clashes with another technique, the parasitic Yin Chakra will eat away at the chakra within the technique, weakening it by one rank. Once the hungry ghost consumes foreign chakra it is released and immediately attaches itself to the source of the foreign chakra (the opponent). From there, the parasite continues to eat away at the enemy’s chakra every time they use techniques (all techniques reduce in rank and power by 1 degree). Once the Hungry Ghost is released, its tether is immediate and cannot be blocked or circumvented by ordinary means. The effects of Hungry Ghost last for 4 turns.
Note: Can only be used 5 times per battle and cannot be used on the same target more than twice.
Note: Surges or Barriers that utilize Yin, Yang, or Yin-Yang chakra can break or prevent the tethering of the Hungry Ghost.
Note: Yin Release master can apply this technique to advanced elements and CE
Note: Hungry Ghost can only be used on S-rank techniques and below.

Tell me a bit more about the above technique.

We're all good

Hungry ghost can only be used on elemental techniques by adding a ram handseal at the end of the technique and occurs in the same timeframe as it. The ghost is attracted to chakra and weakens the technique of the immediate clashing opposing technique by 1 rank. It then attaches onto the source of the chakra and weakens all further techniques from the opponent by 1 rank. This can only be used on S rank techs and below and this can be stopped by surges or barriers that use Yin, Yang, or Yin Yang chakra can prevent the tethering

Interesting that Senjutsu barriers dont break the Hungry Ghost.

Yeah, it's pretty stronk.

(Inton: Dai Mugen Ryu) - Yin Release: Great Phantom Dragons
Spoiler
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 150
Damage: 80 (per dragon) | 100 (for multi-element)
Description: A more powerful version of “Yin Release Hungry Ghost Technique.” Rather than the user arbitrarily adding their Yin Release chakra to a specific technique, the user will create a number of large, elemental dragons using any of the basic elements plus their Yin Release chakra. The user can create up to 5 serpentine dragons which, once created, can act independently according to the user’s will. Due to the user being able to manipulate multiple elements at once, each dragon created can be of a different nature. Each dragon will also have the absorption properties of “Hungry Ghost,” thus becoming even more dangerous. However, due to the massive amount of chakra and control needed to use these dragons, the user can only control two dragons at any given time. While the dragons are present, the user cannot use any Yang Release or elemental techniques that currently exist within the dragons. Yin Release masters can combine two natures together in order to make a multi-elemental dragon or even a dragon consisting of an advanced element or CE that they know. However, in doing so they will only be able to create two dragons.
Note: Can only be used 2 times per battle.

Big ass dragons and even more so once you combine AE or CE.
Pretty lit, got any questions on it?

Ah the standard spam move for Yin users. 100 damage with a CE and AE. Hungry Ghost characteristics that basically make it a 120 damage move thats neutral to all elements at full power.

No questions

Cool beans.

(Inton: Namakemono no Ude ) Yin Release: Hands of Sloth
Spoiler
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra Cost: 100 (110 w/ YY: Hands of Sloth) -50 per turn
Damage: 80 (each hand)
Description: This technique gets its name from one of the deadliest sins, sloth. The user begins by clapping their hands and focusing their Yin Release chakra behind them. The user creates several chakra arms (up to 8) behind them which are spiritual in nature. They do not appear to the naked senses, only Sage Mode users, Rinnegan and other Yin-Yang Release users can detect these hands. The best way to describe this technique is in relation to Madara’s Boader Jail technique. The arms are capable of physically interacting with the world and attacking or defending against physical constructs. However, the user can freely turn them completely intangible if they wish to bypass physical obstacles. The base usage of this technique allows the user to attack or defend covertly by freely manipulating the invisible arms. However, in their second form the user can add the “properties of sloth” to the hands which are dejection, idleness, and sleep. Dejection is a loss of will and focus translated in causing a victim to lose coherent perception of the world around them and weaken their ability to defend against genjutsu. Idleness is a loss of action which is translated to a hampered ability to cast techniques. Sleep is a loss of consciousness which is translated in a comatose state brought about by the sealing of one’s spirit if they are not sufficiently healed. The third and final form of this technique is brought about when the user introduces their Yang Release chakra which essentially makes the hands quasi-sentient and self-sufficient without the user’s mental input.
Note: all Yin Release users can use the base form of this technique. Yin Release masters or Yin-Yang users can use the second form. The final form of this technique can only be used by Yin-Yang users with a Yin affinity.
Note: The properties of sloth are spiritually degenerating properties. The more a victim interacts with the hands the worse they become. When touched by the hands once, the victim enters dejection and becomes unable to deduce A-rank and above genjutsu and unable to break S-rank genjutsu by any means. When touched twice the victim enters idleness and they become unable to perform techniques within a single time-frame. When touched thrice, the victim’s mind is sealed over the course of 2 turns and they enter a genjutsu that renders them a mindless puppet to the user. The properties of sloth can only affect victims if the hands are tangible. Switching between tangibility and intangibility requires a move.
Note: Genjutsu specialists and other Yin-Yang users can resist the properties of sloth through the use of counter genjutsu or Yin Release techniques like Yin-Yang Mode’s Yin State.
Note: This technique can be used once per battle. While in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yang Release, or Yin-Yang Release techniques.

Another taxing technique that's quite strong.
Tell me more about it.

8 hands x 80 damage each = 640 damage total? Wow theres no usage limit on the hands you can use? Wild

You can make these intangible or tangible with a moveslot expenditure, each hit makes the opponent go through progressively worse side effects. By having Yin-yang and a Yin speciality you can use the strongest version of this move, which lets these hands be self sustained and sentient without my input. Only sage mode users, rinnegan users, and yin-yang users can see the hands

Yeah I wouldn't use it like that mate.
The damage was probably counted on two hands at best, though 8 can be made. Otherwise this'd be the strongest canon technique we have around >_<
Anyway, still super useful against some folk as they can't even see it, nice possibilities.

Beat they ass like this.

(Inton Modo) - Yin State
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: 200 (-40 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Based on Hagoromo's Six Paths Sage Mode, those who have completed Yin can enter this mode to elevate their prowess but only in their spiritual capabilities. The lack of the Juubi’s monstrous chakra and natural energy makes it impossible for proper balance of both Yin and Yang natures simultaneously at such a high level. When entering this mode, users first gather their five basic nature chakras and their Yin nature. They then manipulate the ratio of their Yin to Yang chakra such that one nature almost completely overshadows the other, done almost instantly and effortlessly. The result causes the user to enter Yin State. Yin State is the state entered by users when they emphasize their Yin chakra over their Yang. In this state the user is endowed with a pitch-black chakra cloak with white magatama down the center, along the collar and sleeves. The cloak reaches down to the user’s ankles and covers a jet-black jumpsuit is underneath. The user’s nails, lips, hair, and sclera also become jet black. Along with the 4 Truth-Seeking Orbs the user will also gain a Shakujo consisting of the same energy and abilities of the orbs. The main attributes that users gain in this the technique Kuninotokotachi. Kuninotokotachi is a genjutsu technique that grants the user prowess on par with the Uchiha’s Mangekyou Sharingan. When casting genjutsu, the user’s techniques become strong enough to hypnotizes and almost completely control their opponent’s actions like Kotoamatsukami. The user also gains a nigh impenetrable spiritual defense through the shifting of balance, making him immune to any A rank and below Genjutsu none Doujutsu or Yin Genjutsu and a complete defense of up to S rank for other spiritual/mental based abilities ( not counting ones that deal physical damage ). The drawback to this state is that the disproportional amount of energy makes users incapable of using Yang Release techniques and other physically elevating techniques. Advanced forms of taijutsu movement (anything that requires chakra or is B-rank and above) also become unusable.
Note: This technique only last 6 turns and can be used only once per battle.
Note: One must have completed Yin Release in order to use this technique. The user can only use either Yin or Yang state on any bio.
Note: Once the technique ends the user’s spiritual or physical chakra is drained to the barest minimum for their survival, thus making them incapable of using Yin, Yang, or Yin-Yang Release techniques for 10 turns and incapable of using Genjutsu or spiritual abilities for 5 turns.
Note: Likewise, users are unable to use techniques above A-rank for 4 turns.

A nice move, albeit incomplete unless you have YY. Tell me what you can do.

LOL I'll be sure to

You get access to truth seeking balls, a genjutsu that is extremely powerful, and high defenses vs genjutsu and mind based abilities. In exchange for this you lose advanced taijutsu and you cant use yin, yang, or yin yang for 10 turns after its over. You also lose genjutsu and spiritual abilities for 5 turns. Then for some reason theres a 3rd note saying no techs above A rank for 4 turns lol. Lots of end restrictions
