I believe that since each character (Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke) have surpassed there instructors they should be considered The next Sannin?

It's not really a tradition. It was more of a one-shot thing. I highly doubt that Sakura has surpassed Tsunade! Lol come on now, she put up a decent fight against Madara Uchiha and and Hanzou. Same can be said about Sasuke, although he is seriously strong it's too soon to say he has supposed the great Orochimaru.

They couldn't be considered "the next Sannin",because Sannin is a unique title, which was awarded by hanzo,when he fought Tsunade,Jiraiya and Orochimaru.
