[Discussion] the next female to join (BREAK DOWN OF PAST EVENTS)

There are several similarities between robin and nami and the way they were introduced let me show you some scans and then point the similarites out. They are uncanny.

Did you catch those similarities?
Let me point out the big three that are present.
  • They start off with thier first action in the manga being depicted as sinking a ship
  • They both are refered to with an alias (That witch, Miss all Sunday)
  • They both end up looking down on luffy sitting ontop of a railing acting superior and offer something to luffy which he refuses.
bit uncanny right? But there is more.
  • In the first conversation both nami and robin talk about luffy's hat. In both these conversations end with the crew being in a fight that they lose.
  • The crew being disarmed against robin and Nami trading Luffy over to the Buggy pirates.
  • Also both nami and robin were headed to the same place as the crew (Nami to the grand line and Robin to alabasta)
  • Both were seemingly alone but turned out to be working for a criminal organization. Not just a criminal organization like pirates or bandits but one that planned to take over the world and one that was on the WG's side.
  • Both lash out against their crime boss (nami vs Arlong and Robin vs Crocodile) only to be saved by luffy in the end
  • Both only really join after another fight
  • Both have a shady past involving their village and have it portrayed from the beginning (nami and her village, Robin and her village)
  • Both didn't really join in the way the others did. Nami said several times they were just working together and she wasn't part of the crew and Robin just hopped on the ship.


What does this mean for the new female to join?
Well when we see her we should know exactly who she is.
  1. She will sit above luffy and look down on him literally
  2. at least once mention his hat in the first chapter she is introduced in.
  3. In that same chapter she will sink a ship.
  4. She will be called by something other than her name.
  5. She will disarm luffy or who ever luffy is with.
  6. She will be heading to the same place as the SHs.
  7. She will offer something to luffy which he will refuse.
  8. She will work for a criminal organization that works for the Government
  9. but eventually lash out at her boss.
  10. And she will join un-officially until a climatic fight.
  11. She will be without a home to return to and that same home will be crucial to who she is as a character.
Once we see a girl like this we should know that she is the next one to join.




I plan on doing more in-depth comparisons like this for future nakama depending on how well this goes.

If the proposed in the op is what you were basing your statement off of then you are wrong. Violet meets two out of 12 conditions stated in the original post.

I read one piece almost 30 times. All i see is patterns. Oda gives them too us. We just don't see them. But I do. I do see all the patterns.

But seriously Oda has like a gabillion patterns in one piece and I plan to share them all.

It will be someone that Luffy saves, that can fight, and has something traumatic in her backstory

Nami and Robin are also the only 2 characters to wear Luffy's hat with him knowing about it.

No she is not. Her death(and her actions/motives in PH) was highly ambiguous.

Caesar actually missed Monet's heart. When we saw Caesar after he "stabbed" her heart, the shive was instead beside her heart forcefully lodged into the ground. Casear only grazed the outer flesh of the heart.

Unless she isn't, and she did. We'd see what shes done (if shes alive) off panel when Oda decides to.

We did see those snow bunnies below the Sunny after she "died".


Even if the heart was hit - maybe the heart wasn't directly her own

Law probably gave her the wings and bird legs, so maybe he switched out her heart with someone elses? And her heart is safety guarded or hidden outside her body. And that someone's heart was inside her.

When "her" heart was stabbed, it would have killed the other person --> killing her arms and legs. She would have felt it but it definitely wouldn't have killed her.


Another rule could be: The Enemy Family's biggest female operative/asset joins. Nami was Arlongs biggest female asset. Robin was Crocodiles biggest female asset (strongest female-->with mr1).
For Doflamingo it's either Monet/Sugar/Baby5/Juval or whatever her name is. doesn't matter cuz its not her anyway.
Monet was trusted enough to infiltrate the royal palace and to look after Ceasar. Sugar was just used for her fruit.



Also:
She was Doflamingo's undercover agent working for Ceasar Clown --> who had a government official in his pocket denying child abduction. (reminds me of Nami)

Doflamingo did ask her to die for him.
Right now she is not helping his cause in the dressrosa fight. So, IF she is alive she is defying her boss, because she is not dead and not helping him.



And in 671 Law wanted to ask something of her. The next time we see them Law collapses and vergo interupts them.

In between those two chapters Law could have asked Monet to act as an undercover agent for him by joining the SHs, if they survived Dressrosa; given that Law was plotting the murder of her boss, and the fact that her skills are a valuable asset, he wouldn't want her getting into the wrong hands.

And after a while she decides to actually join, instead of be a spy for Law.
