So I think the next chapter will be inside of IT, simply because of the last pages.
You see how distorted it is? I believe Obito, since he's connected to the tree, is already going into IT's effect. Also because it shows the moon, as we know Tsuki No Me (The Moon's Eye Plan) is signified by the moon. And because of that random image of smoke in the middle of the panel. If you look closely it looks like a flower blooming.
And then we have this chapter. With the crazy light. So all the threads I've read have been focused on the footprints. I think we were supposed to focus on the light glimmering off the Tree. I believe that light is the Moon reflecting off the open bloom of the God Tree. Which would mean that IT is beginning. In theory at least.
In conclusion, I believe instead of Hashirama vs Madara, we'll see Team 7 and the rest of the alliance trapped in a dream world in the next chapter.
