How can naruto become the new SO6P's ? Sure he was acknoweledged by the tailed beasts as the sennin, but only because of his actions. He can never be like the SO6P's. Even if naruto managed to get the rinnegan it would still be weaker then the sage.

The sage made his younger son his successor, not both.
Can you really see Sasuke becoming the new sage? People that believe that one must have power to become the sage, really isn't paying attention to the manga. It's not just about power, it's about what the sage stood for.
Naruto will aquire True power, that's what the sage said and he wasn't talking about the rinnegan or some OP sh*t... Remember what Haku said what true power really is...
The new sage must fulfill the wish that the sage wanted and that's finding true peace..

Right now.. Sasuke is the One who is searching for the Truth.. I mean, the real truth for the existance of shinobi and villages. He is gaining wisdom of sage.. not only powers..
Naruto knows only 1 thing.. to become hokage and acknowledged by every1. Well he know the value of Life and friendship and ppl.. But sasuke is also gaining wisdom now.. so we'll know whether sasuke is ELIGIBLE to become a SO6P.. based on his actions (after Hashi's story) and not based on his powers...
May be the cycle of hatred ends, only if the descendant of 1st Son becomes the New Sage i.e, Sasuke.. and Naruto helping him in making a good person and dissolving Sasuke's hatred.. only when both brothers acknowledge eachother and play the role they are supposed to..

Tbh is it necessary for there to be a "new" SO6P?? Kishi has this whole the next generations surpass the last generations thing going on. The Sage left his legacy to the world and to his sons...its up to them to SURPASS him not become just like him and thats it.
No the will be no new Rikudo it denies one of Kishi's themes hence it won't happen. Naruto or Sasuke likely both of them will surpass the sage completely...but it won't be just one of them.
