Its not Boruto its the people he's connected to. Naruto is his dad and Sasuke is his sensei if you got a bad rep then you better walk on eggshells unless you think you're stronger than they are or have a darn good plan. Nobody wants to make enemies with the Hyuga either. He's got too much support from powerful people.

From a story perspective Orochimaru no longer wants to become the wind that makes things move. It was his own resolution.
While you make a good point, that i agree in terms of story, that wouldn't stop a guy like Orochimaru from being wicked. It just felt like it was a soulless Orochimaru, a shadow of his former self, accepting orders from Boruto. It was strange to see him being depicted like he was today.

Honestly episode 65 ruined the anime for me. I was already on the fence, but when sasuke stops MIDFIGHT with a high tier otsutsuki to give a smiling soliloquy about how amazing and prodigious boruto is, I lost all faith in the series lol

This doesn't invalidate that it was his (Orochimaru) own resolution but thank you for the input.
The same way people make threads to praise it.
In terms of animation, episode 65 was great but i know what you mean.

I was more or less the same, it was worse when Sasuke and Naruto were varely taking super Momo even the surprise sword slash to the neck didn't do f'all. Then Borat came in with his ass pulled vanishing Rasengan got super momo, was landing hits at close range on Momo and then proceeded to beat him. While Sasuke stood in awe of Borat like a good cheerleader.
Right?? Like regular fused mom neg diffed the four kage and beat base naruto and sasuke in taijutsu, how tf did boruto keep up at all with amped up momo? He should’ve lost before he even started

Your opinion and contribution is highly respected and very welcomed.
It isn't bias 'tho, it is my opinion on the state of things. Oro was soulless, a shadow of his former self. Quite ridiculous if you ask me.

Yo you know what I mean. People create threads just to bash the series, that is different than praising something. If you want to bash it, keep your mouth shut. If you have something meaningful to say, then go ahead.
Most of this stuff is people just wanting attention for hating the series. I know people have said this before, but don't watch it if your are just going to complain. Nobody cares about your BS, and that is the truth

Let me explain even if i don't have to. I dropped the series, watched a single episode because it was said Orochimaru didn't cheerleader Boruto. He did. This is far from bashing, this is stating things as they are in my view. You said no one cares, well.. It seems you do, so thank you for caring and giving me your attention.
It is wrong that you act like if i don't have the right to my opinion and if you like the way Boruto ruins old characters it is up to you and clearly a mirror of your judgement in terms of what good writting and respect towards The legacy of Naruto and the franchise series should be. Don't be rude btw, that rebel attitude isn't going to cut it, now please, get some manners.
