Without Kurama's chakra, that's somewhat useless to him unless he's running away. He still can't warp big things as he stated nor had his stamina improved to where he can use it more than 3-4x without being drain or dying.

Do you mean Juubi-sized by "big things"?
Because 3 times stronger chakra than his own was enough to warp a whole bijuu twice.
Which means with his own chakra he can still warp 2/3 of a bijuu, which is damn big to me.

I think blindness doesn't affect a user with a borrowed Sharingan, that's why Kakashi isn't going blind till now. In case of Obito, maybe Senju cells may have something to do with it.
