Rinnegan
Sage mode
Perfect Susanoo
8 gates
Wood style
AND
FTG would would.

You obviously haven't been reading the manga.The old generation rape the new generation in skills, intelligence, power, etc etc etc

Naruto and Sasuke are inferior to Hashirama and Madara, Hashirama and Madara were inferior to Ashura and Indra and Ashura and Indra are inferior to Hagomoro(The Sage) and his Brother(name withheld).From what the manga has shown, the further you go back the stronger the generation before is.Now kishi is going to give Naruto and Sasuke a Sage hand me down power up so they can actually be strong enough to take on Juubi infused Madara, but the trend has remain throughout the manga.

Not every douche of young generation surpasses the previous. It's like saying Einstein has been surpassed overall. true he was surpassed in some field but not overall. Every once in a century their rise a person who surpasses every other. But it's true that we young generation are on the path to surpass the old one collectively. But on individual level,to say that every old guy was surpassed by every young one is a joke. It doesn't work in reality nor in fiction.

Reason why no generation until Naruto and Sasuke's surpassed Hashirama and Madara was because they didn't have a threat or a time that was dangerous as Hashirama and Madara's.

Reason why Hashirama and Madara surpassed Indra and Ashura was because their time was more dangerous than that of indra and Ashura.

Naruto and Sasuke's time = Biggest situation ever

Hashirama and Madara's time = Warfare at its peak

Indra and Ashura's time = Peace

Sage and his bro's time = The juubi attacks.
