In the upcoming Boruto movie why did kishi nerf Naruto & Sasuke?

Naruto didn't go juubi jin RSM, he only went Rikudou Kurama Chakra Mode and Sasuke barely used Rinnegan techs, mostly EMS. Like really kishi?

This was the final movie and they were nerfed, oh well atleast its action packed and epic nonetheless. ​

If anything, Momoshiki was nerfed, got taken by baby rasengan .

Naruto doesn't have as much bijuu chakra as he did in the war atm. Pretty sure setting up a bijuu meeting is lengthier than you guys think.

As for Sasuke, of course he was nerfed,nobody is ready to full scale rinnegan sasuke except for Non rusty Naruto. but sasuke vs kinshiki looked epic though, plus flaming blue sword was neat.

Sasuke didn't use chibaku tensei, rinnegan genjutsu, or even preta path. He was nerfed hard XD

Thing is Kishi can't portray rinnegan characters at full capacity otherwise battles would be very short. No rinnegan user to date has had full knowledge of their powr and used it all at once.

Nagato: was crippled and even when he could he was an edo tensei which is noted for not being as strong as when they were alive and he was being controlled lowering the power further.

Madara: Nerfed, used very few rinnegan techniques

Obito: Not the original user, only had one rinnegan

Sasuke: Didn't have full knowledge and rinnegan was still premature and when he was mature enough he lost an arm before it could happen

Momoshiki and kinshiki:Nerfed, rinnegan in the palms like DR.Gero and Number 19.


If Naruto and Sasuke weren't nerfed there wouldn't be a movie.
