Ok so in NB, all I see is Narusaku & Naruhina.. there is little to no sign of Sasusaku and since they are my OTP and considering how things are going in the manga the ship now have bigger chances than ever. So lets see..
Sakura: In love with sasuke since she first appeared.
Sasuke: ?? "unknown status"
Why people ship it?
I can't talk about others but I can assume that Sasusaku's think the same..
1- They had the most painful farewell
Also it is the most painful love story in the manga "I have to add IMO".
2- Sakura hitting Sai hard "she still wasnt serious thou" for bad mouthing sasuke:
It wasnt a "fuuny/joking" hit, even though i don't like when she hits for "comic relief" but it is clear how she got pissed off when sasuke was bashed.
3- The confession.
Now many people interpret the confession and to each his own at the end.. how SS see it.. a painful confession.
Of course, for a girl to confess first it must be hard and needs a lot of courage and she would probably blush. Look clearly at her eyebrows and they they are curving.. look how she is not looking into naruto's eyes, how she faking a smile and not even blushing!
Because its painful for her.. she decided to kill the man she loves and lie on the man whom she knows he have a crush on her..
even THAT NARUTO could see she wasn't honest about it.
4- The attempt to kill sasuke.
It was stated several times that sasuke was not himself at that moment.. im not justifying what he did he was wrong, but the fact that he wasn't himself at that time should give him even a little bit of credit he was the "crushing konoha sasuke" at that time and he was lost and focusing on revenge only.
She is the character that tried to kill another character not for another party.. but for him because it pains her to see him falling in darkness any further. She didnt kill him for konoha or because he is a criminal, but so he wont fall into the darkness anyfurther..
but couldnt do it because loosing/forgetting him is not something she could do!
5- The waterfall of tears.
Every character in the series when they cried like this, it was for a big reason!
Sasuke when he found out about itachi:
Naruto when he found out about Jiraya:
The common thing about these tears is that they were shed on the most important people in thier life.. so it is obvious how important sasuke is to sakura that she would cry from the bottem of her heart for him.. the pictre speaks of itself..
6- Rejection.
Why would kishi include such a scene if it had no meaning behind it at all?
The one she is thinking about is sasuke and she is sad because it pains her that she loves him and it pains her whenever she thinks about him..
7- The Reunioun..
Who could possibily make sakura extremely shocked??.. she just witnessed the arrival of the edo hokages but no, it was when she met sasuke that she started screaming..
and look how acknowledged her first and the look at his eyes..
the two panels that stole breath "fangirl mode" They always look at each other, its really charming.. the pairing which speak through the eyes..
Also you could actually wonder, why did a side character "Karin" get an apology, when the main "sakura" didnt?
That leads me to think that kishi is holding a bigger moment for this apology and we might witness it next chapter, who know?
As for sasuke, he never admitted nor did he deny it "that itself gives us a big light of hope".. and the reason was because he have more important thing to think about atm, even back then his mind was focusing on stuff.. the same goes for naruto and all the love issues..
This is a serious thread and im intersted to see if there are people here who ship SS, well im sure there are xD
And i want to note that i took the things related to sasusaku only while some of the scenes might had other interactions, but this thread is for SS
