i have a theory on something the kage have in common..
1st thing ima touch on is relationships..
Every Hokage Candidate has either been apart of the former kages team or a direct disciple.. lets start with what we know..
1st hokage was succeeded by the 2nd his brother.. he didnt necessarily teach the 2nd but theres a family relation.. when the 2nd left the candidates were Danzo and hiruzen they were both directly taught by the 2nd. hiruzens top candidate was orochimaru who was his student, and Minato his 2nd choice who was a student of his student. When Minato died hiruzens top replacements were 2 of his students. Jiraya was number 1 and tsunade was 2 (because of a nomination from jiraya)
its obvious strong shinobi will have strong students but lets take it a step further.. Ohnaki he is a direct desciple of the past tsuchikage, and they havent elaborated any further on their past.. Raikage ay was the son of the previous raikage and was trained by him.. gaara is the son of the 4th kazakage.. . the 4th mizukage was killed and he was young so as far as i know he has no desiples and was replaced..
if you are following my logic you would understand that i think sakura will be the next Hokage. before we speak about how strong naruto and sasuke are hear this. she is and always has been the smartest in the team. during the chunin exam everyone spoke about her intellect.. during the test sakura said "theres not too many ppl who could get these questions right besides me" they went over to sasuke and he said "I dont know any of the answers".
shes smart enough. there's no doubt shes strong enough and her medical jutsu is top notch.. narutos strong enough but outside of a battle hes stupid.. sasukes unstable and emotional in 5 years they would be known as the "bloody leaf village" sakura seems like the next candidate based on the relationships of the previous kage
