As the owner from the Naruto FC from NarutoBase (see my signature), I think I have the right to talk about my fellow Naruto-fans. I am not making this thread to show off, not at all. I am making this thread to make something clear. You see, a few times I see people here talking about fandoms and mentioning that the Naruto fandom isn't that 'vocal'... But I see that as a compliment!
Also saying that the Naruto FC is now so big just because of the "Naruto = SO6P theory"... Sorry, but you couldn't be more wrong. Naruto fans are very loyal.
I am following this manga for 7 years already and I am following this site for 4 years now. All that time the Naruto fandom was one of the biggest and it still is. And not only on this fansite, also on all the others. Also on Tumbrl, also on Facebook (especially). For example the official Naruto FB-page is full with Naruto-fans, but really full. I remember a picture where the page-maker asked the fans wich character they like the most... Well, more then 50% of the +14 000 responses were Naruto. I think that says enough.
"We are not that vocal like the Sasuke FC or the Itachi FC..." Eum, is that a bad thing? No, it isn't. I think the Naruto fandom deserves praise for that. I mean, most of the people who are very vocal in supporting there favorite character and keeps repeating the same stuff all over again, are annoying. You all know that. But however the Naruto FC is so big with so many people, we still are not known as an annoying fandom. The very most of us are very mature and don't react like silly fanboys or girls.
Also, just look at our FC (see sig, again). So many members, so active, but also so mature. No hate on other characters, just a relaxed place where Naruto-fans talk about the manga and other stuff. I think other fandoms should learn about that and react the same... If that happens, more mature discussions are possible.
