Anyone else get the feeling Zetsu may not be as Loyal to Tobi & Madara's Eye of The Moon Plan as they think? I keep feeling like he's being overlooked all the time way too much, since being introduced he's always been this unknown entity sneaking around recording information for Tobi (Supposedly) I mean who's to say he hasn't been keeping a few things to himself?
I've listed a few statements below to support my theory..
First of all, we know nothing about him whatsoever! Think about it every single member of Akatsuki has had their back story's mentioned/explained to some degree, Wether its the story of Sasori's parents or Kisames belief that you should never abandon a mission no matter the cost or even that Hidan is from the Hot water Village! We know nothing about this dude, the village he's from, his upbringing, his ability to use wood release, relationship with Tobi/Madara all a mystery but why? I doubt even Obito/Madara know the true extent of who he really is.
Secondly The whole fact that there's two different parts to him White Zetsu and Black Zetsu. As far as Personality goes for being a single entity the two could not be more different, White Zetsu seems to have a more laid back, happy go lucky kind of persona whilst Black Zetsu seems to be the more serious one, constantly analysing his surroundings and scolding his other half for missing important information such as during Itachi's Battle with Sasuke. Now If we are meant to believe that Zetsu is one whole person then whats with the two conscious beings with two completely Incomparable personalitys?
Lastly (and this is what got me thinking like this) Remember how Kabuto got Obito to team up with him for the fourth shinobi war? He blackmailed him with Madara's Corpse, My question is how the hell did Kabuto get his hands on something like that in the first place? It's not like he was walking through the woods one day and spotted Madara's body behind a tree, for him to even being looking for Madara's Corpse he would have to have known he was dead in the first place right? But how did he get this Information? Maybe Zetsu told him? Better still how was Kabuto able to find all these corpses in the first place? Zetsu's scouting abilitys plus he's ability to move around freely underground would definitely make this an easy task right?
What with the recent appearance of Orochimaru I've come to the conclusion that Zetsu could be an Unknown shinobi kidnapped from Konoha as a Kid and used in Orochimaru's experiments with Senju DNA just like Yamato! Maybe after dismissing he's failures Orochimaru was able to successfully fuse Senju DNA with said Konoha shinobi aswell as with another Shonobi making Zetsu? Maybe he was then placed into the Akatsuki to earn Tobi's trust aswell as provide information to Orochimaru and this whole thing has been his plan to take over Obito's body as soon as he let his guard down a bit too much? That would explain a lot of things like How Zetsu came to be, How Kabuto was able to gather body's for Edo Tensei, How Orochimaru knew so much about Akatsuki (as stated by Tobi himself)
Oh yeah before i forget, weirdly enough Zetsu's playing card from the Naruto Card Game states that he is formerly a citizen of the Hidden Leaf Village, Mistake made by Kishi? I doubt it..
I just feel like due to the blatent lack of information provided Throughout the series Kishimoto is setting Zetsu's Character up for something bigger, what could be bigger than a Coup D'état against the one person who completely trusts you?
Anyways, what do you guys think?
