Well from what I gathered, there are several contenders for helping Sasuke. I just wanted to bring them all together.

Here is the page we all saw recently.
Karin
She is actually one of my first choices because of her abilities such as Chakra Sensing and Healing. Orochimaru and Co. were heading towards him anyways so it would be logical choice to pick her. I found some proof that it might be her from these sources.
Karin shown not wearing shoes. It's in the second to last panel of the page. Notice also that Orochimaru mentions that they should be fast after all.
Kabuto
He is probably the most prominent name to show up next. His extensive medical knowledge is only matched by very few. He could help Sasuke but some issues arise for me concerning him.
- He flat out hates Sasuke. Not just because he is an Uchiha but because things come easy to him as opposed to himself who had to work hard to achieve his skills.
- His location should be pretty far away. You would have to explain how he is going to travel all those miles barefoot let alone state a valid reason why he would make such a trip.
- How did he reach Sasuke without being detected/discovered by other shinobi from the alliance? He is well known and his appearance isn't exactly non-recognizable.
- Even after "finding his true self", why would he want to be a part of this war?
Onoki
I suggested this a while ago and many said that it wasn't possible since he was far away. It could still be him though since he and Sasuke share the same theme of redemption and wanting to correct the mistakes of the past. HOwever as I kept reading I found he was almost out of chakra so getting there would require him to drop what he is doing just to head over to Sasuke which wouldn't make sense since he, as a Kage, is expected to be with the other Kage fighting off the masked man (spiral Zetsu).
Izuna Uchiha
This makes little sense to be a viable option. If he was going to be used he would have been used a long time ago by Kabuto as a means to control Madara or blackmail him. That and he really wouldn't have much of a place despite him being equal to Madara but then again that was waaay back then before he fought Hashirama in the Valley of the End. Also why would he want to help Madara? He did take his eyes after all.
