I'm gonna go with Kabuto... The person was absorbing chakra from the natural surroundings. The reason why Karin couldn't recognise him was because his DNA and chakra was mixed with Sound Fours and he's obviously changed since he achieved sage mode AND further since Orochimaru took back his own chakra. One thing for sure is that the person is powerful.

Besides, another thing to note is that Karin's sensing abilities might have been a bit dodgy since she was so pre-occupied and worried about Sasuke that she probably wasn't analysing very well. This may also lead to the reason why Karin was thinking that the person had negative intentions. Have you forgotten how crazy she is about Sasuke? If it was an Uchiha we probably would have seen some chakra indication around the area of the Sharingan or Rinnegan, dojutsu. Spiral zetsu also seems like a good prediction so I definitely wouldn't rule him out.


Quit with the dumb suggestions like Shisui or Izuna... That's not happening, I'm sorry but do you really think Kishi was just randomly throw someone like that in? Also, SO6P? LOL! He was hiding behind a rock the whole time and now he's here to save the day¬

And what in context does Spiral mean when he said "Even if they reach him it's too late anyway" does he mean:

a. It's too late for Sasuke will be dead when they arrive

or

b. It's too late because "Mystery Person" will get to Sasuke before them

c.Oro's team won't have the time to reach Madara before he becomes the juubijin.

Madara did not use Izanagi. The EMS is two MS overlapping. The Uchiha attain a power up from LOSS thus a pair of Mangekyo are sacrificed to make the EMS. There is no eye swapping or extra eyes because they basically fuse to create the new pattern. Being able to keep the eyes, especially for a high level jutsu like Izanagi just flat out destroys the concept of "loss". Madara probably got outside help and was resucitated because Hashirama was sure he was dead. Notice Hashirama fought Madara contless times and didn't seem to fall for Genjutsu so that is out of the question. What if this mystery man is someone from their time such as the Uzumaki Elder and now he'll power up Sasuke like he did to Madara?

Warning, you might think "duh".

Karin didnt know the chakra of the person next to Sasuke but she could sense it.

Meaning it cant be Kabuto.'


And Tobirama didnt know who he was either, meaning it cant be like Izuna or their younger brother.

To be fair, we don't know if Tobirama knows whether or not it's an Uchiha or not. His statement could have simply been in reaction to his puzzlement regarding which Uchiha he's sensing.

Nonetheless, personally I think it's unlikely and I wouldn't endorse the OP's theory though.

don't know....! there's one thing that doesn't let me believe this theory and that is that both sons of sage should have enormous amount of chakra, atleast more than hashirama so karin and tobirama should be like "what immense chakra" but they didn't show any concern about his strength....!

elder son doesn't necessarily need to have same chakra signature as uchihas because hyugas are also derived from him so he should have a different chakra signature than uchihas...!

Kakashi merely made a false assumption back in part one:

the character in question (Kakashi) was not making a definitive statement but rather working on hearsay and speculations (Kakashi: "They Say...") therefore the validity of his statement is questionable.

Kakashi said that the origins of the Uchiha Clan lie (come from) with the Hyuuga Clan which implies that the Uchihas are descendants of the Hyuugas making the Uchiha (based on Kakashi's hearsay info) an off-shoot clan. Already Kakashi's statement is contradicting the Manga since the descendants of the Elder Son were said to be Uchihas:
