We know Master Kishi likes to troll people.
I assume back in Part 1 Kakashi had a mask to symbolise badassness and mysteriousness... The mask became his persona after a while so Kishi just left it for the manga - because it became part of Kakashi's character.

Also, not to mention your whole post is almost irrelevant. You should read the manga. You can actually answer a lot of your questions I seem to come across.

So, to sum up:
1- Kakashi isn't a special being otherwise people would've exploited that already
2- Kakashi is hiding his face because that's the whole joke of it. Even without the mask his face is still covered. Master Kishi is genius.

Kakashi took it off before. Against Kakazu he used water bullet from his mouth to cancel out kakazus fire katon, but it was far in the distance so us readers couldn't see his face. Which means he could have used his water abilities against madara and obito, to cancel their fire abilities out, but for some reason did not...

This was taken from a 2011 interview kishimoto held at jump festa. He confirms that there is nothing special under kakashi's mask.
