I'm not resolute about anything regarding this character, because a lot of possibilities are revolving in my mind as well. But the highest chances are of him being Itachi's son. Again, I'm not sure, but this seems most viable among all options. All other options are easy to negate comparatively.

When you say Itachi's son are you referring to the alien looking kid with the Sharingan or the cloaked figure? would make sense in the fact he hated Sasuke for killing Itachi and the disgrace part to

Yea, that boy is being controlled by the one in the cloak. In the spoilers the cloak one said that he could never forgive Sasuke. For killing Itachi? perhaps..and now he's using that blonde boy to test Sasuke, to see how strong he is before engaging him in a fight.

Since the manga seems to be focused on sasuke and salad the cloaked man should reveal himself, and get defeated in the mini series. Orrrrr it could be a 'to be continued' towards the Bolt movie with Bolt using his signature new move to defeat sir cloak alot :sdo:

If it was legit, it would have been revealed in Part 2 just like every other mystery (Black Zetsu etc). What special relevance does this have with Part 3 that it isn't unveiled yet? I highly doubt this theory. Plus, if Madara was controlling Obito through Tobidara, why would he take other measures to side Obito with him like killing Rin to flourish his anger and placing a seal on his heart?
