Origin
The Sage of Six Paths is the most powerful and mysterious figure in the narutoverse and there are a lot of theories and discussions based on his origin, his offspring and even how he ties in to the current happenings in the current narutoverse. So I am going to do a few threads based on my thoughts on his origin, where his powers come from, his personality, what he did for the world, and the gifts he gave his two sons. The topic of this thread will be his origin.
I believe the Sage of Six Paths’ mother was a Hyuga and his father was an Uzamaki. I don’t think anybody has hit on this yet, but these two clans are some of the only clans whose techniques don’t rely on jutsu. The Hyugas are martial arts users gifted with exceptionally strong eyesight (no jutsu needed) and the Uzamaki are a bunch of Shaman. I call the Uzamaki shaman because honestly that is what they are since they specialize in sealing techniques. Though no one at that time knows about jutsu the Uzamaki would function as a type of Omnyouji (look it up).
Both the Hyuga and the Uzamaki clan are shown to have some of the strongest genealogies in the NU. Each clan member has the almost exact same hair color and of course for the hyuga eye color. In genealogy when you get two dominant yet different genes and one doesn’t win over the other you get a mutation. I believe that the So6P himself is a rare mutation of both clans’ main branch’s genes. The Uzamaki’s body that contains high spiritual power (yin) and the Hyuga clan’s eyes that contain strong physical power (yang). The So6P was born with strong both yin and yang.
The strength of the byakugan eyes decreased, but they became more in tune to spiritual energy (chakra) allowing him to see chakra in all its colors. His body gained more physical power allowing him to withstand the power of Sage mode.
