The movie is going to hurt the Naruto series more than anything else

Its confirmed to be canon so everything in it will be a ''continuating'' of this Naruto series. Looking at the new villain, sht don't seem right anyone else agree? I feel like since its a continuation, a new villain that comes out of nowhere is kinda odd...
