If you watch One Piece, you'd know that Usopp has changed greatly. He's still cowardly, but far from how he was earlier in the series. Now he actually dares to stand up against stronger opponents. Great characters doesn't have to be the usual strong heroes who're not afraid of a thing.

Well Law suffered the same fate more or less but I think what it will ultimately come down to now is how good Luffy does against him.

Well we've seen Law cut mountains and defeat slice Vergo in half, not to mention Law was the first to hit Doffy too.

i think in order for ussop to get stronger, he needs to drop this "pop green" stuff, and learn haki and use the things he used before.

Yeah Usopp will have the most development from all the SH's near EOS. He will become a brave warrior of the Sea! I really want him to get at least armament haki. Personally, it will compensate for lack of strength and improve his fighting style since he's more centered towards strategic fighting.

I love one piece its my favorite anime but last thing i saw im say was : if the enemy turn their back and run then you can count on me ! Shooting someone in the back while retreating isnt what i call strong or brave .... No matter how much stronger these oppenents are

That's why there's something called character development. Usopp will surely changed before the end of the series. This I'm sure of.

Give him sometime, he'll prove you wrong. Usopp has his moments and eventually we'll see become more braver than ever. With the current arc, we'll see him take some serious leadership roles.

Magellan and Smoker!
Smoker because he lost to Law and Vergo, even though they're both pretty OP opponents.
Magellan because there's nobody to directly compare his strength to. But people seem to forget he scared the sh*t out of Ivankov,Crocodile and Jinbe who are all VERY powerful. Ivankov > Sanji, Crocodile is only slightly edged by Sanji (based upon MF , he is most probably stronger now) and Jinbe can go toe to toe with G2 Luffy. And Magellan was all over them!
