How the **** are people voting Itachi? He failed in everything, he even said so 
The most successful is obviously Naruto. And Sasuke, he basically achieved what he wanted the most. You can say Obito and Madara too, I guess(but it's for now)

Orochimaru has found a way around every problem. Gets sealed by Itachi.. Comes back via Anko. Can't use ninjutsu.. Gets his arms back from the Reaper. Used his body as a sacrifice... Switched to a zetsu body and now has senju DNA.
