What do you think is the most epic Father/son meeting of all time in anime that has happened or will happen?


In my opinion its the meeting of these 2 , probably the most anticipated father/son meeting right now. =D

Yeah, they haven't met yet but once it eventually happens, it will go down as the best son/father meeting in shonen history.

As of now, it's Gon & Ging's meeting at the world tree. The final speech he tells to Gon (refer to my status) is so powerful/meaningful and pretty much summarizes the series to an extent. It was wonderful.

Hm, I haven't seen enough anime to find a really iconic father/son meeting. In YYH, it was pretty cool when Yusuke met his ancestral father so to speak. I also really liked it when Naruto finally got to meet Minato

I think Luffy meeting his father will be better than both of those though. There's too much hype about it and Oda usually doesn't disappoint me hype wise so I'm looking forward to it.

Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I always thought the father and son reunion troupe was awful in anime

Its what ruined Naruto he was a much better character to sympathize with and feel empathy for the fact that he didn't even get to meet his parents yet still was able to live life to the fullest? Then they had to go and make them known and have him even interact with him for like a billion chapters turned him into a naive idiot at that point
