If you care to add other comparisons, Knuckles from Sonic acts like Goku, Silver is a little like Trunks, and Vegeta is of course Shadow. Pretty common comparisons, but still.

I wouldn't say that Sonic is anything like Goku though. Goku sometimes can be serious when he needs to be, Sonic just plays around too much and is always trying to make a joke about something.
