The black hole episode isn't that scary. You should see their doomsday episode, those gamma ray bursts..... Those things are scary. If Earth gets hit with one it will blow the atmosphere off of earth instantly killing one side of the planet. The other side will be torn apart with 500+ mile winds and scorching heat from the winds. They will die a slow, miserable, painful death as they try to dig underground for safety and everything on the surface is destroyed.
