I usually respect most people who are humble.

However, I still think that Madara is by far the most badass character. He is arrogant, yes, but he can back it up. He's arrogant in the sense that he likes to show off his power, but he's never blinded by it, he can easily acknowledge others and is honest.
I also like his voice, it fits perfectly with his character, it's mocking and intelligent. He's calm and always plans forward.
On top of that, I like how he enjoys to fight and enjoys a strong opponent that can hurt him.

Further more, the fact that he dedicated most of his life for his goal and lust for power, and didn't care about things that most normal people do (after he became evil at least), puts him on an entire different league than most characters. Although many villains share this trait in Naruto, Madara just seems to present himself far better, in my opinion.
