Who created it. So6p should be the answer but then how did kaguya did I.T. Since there was no moon then. Or I.T was over by destruction of moon. Then to keep a balance so6p created another moon. Whats ur thoughts....

Maybe Kaguya just didn't cast IT on a large scale.

The moon is a mere amplifier.

So I still believe that Hagoromo created it.

Shinjuu created Moon-> Shinjuu or Hagoromo destroyed Moon -> Hagoromo recreated the Moon

Shinjuu could destroy because without Moon people would be punished in darkness until day comes, it could be punishment for humankinds.

Hagoromo could destroy it to stop IT Genjutsu

It's proven that the moon thing was a myth not reality. Hagoromo didn't create the moon, it always existed.

Oh my gosh. People still think that IT would end if the moon gets destroyed?!! Just look at the current situation now! The moon is no longer shining! It doesn't even have the eye anymore! It is back to being the regular moon. Why would destroying it have any effect on IT?

^^ well true, but it doesn't exclude possibility of Shinjuu to destroy the Moon as punishment to Kaguya if she came from the Moon or as punishment to humankind for Kaguya's act so Humankind would be forced to stay in darkness until day comes.

It may be hard to accept but I woudn't exclude it, especially if Shinjuu is creator of Moon in first place before Kaguya arrived

Sage must've destroyed it when he was younger but he recreated it later on or there's more than one moon...
